Help please

ok when i restart my labtop and then push f10 it takes me to the bios place but everything i want to change is locked it want let me go down where the Multiplier, FSB, RAM Timings, RAM Speed the only thing it will let me change is the date. anyone know what i can do to unlock it or something?

processor 1300Mhz
1.30 Ghz,224MB of Ram

HP=Compaq .....no real way to overclock in hardware in less you willing to take the lappy apart and fish for jumpers or dipswitches ( assuming thare labled or can find what thay do )
the only other way is in software clockgen cpufsb or softfsb.....if you lucky cpumsr can change the X in software too ....all should be EZ to find on google.....

 

i have a laptop and the BIOS is sh*t, lierially all i can change is the boot sequence and put a password on the bios. laptops are soo sh*t for this sorta stuff and its probs not worth overclocking as they get soo hot

like ace said.... software is like the only option
