help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

My child has been playing with my phone and has some how buggered it up , when i switch my phone on it says pin blocked , then jumps to enter puk , i have never used a pin and don't no what a puk is , my phone is unlocked and open to all networks if that helps , any advice would be very much appreciated

the phone is a samsung U600

 

Yes, call you provider, as Laura said. Before that, pull out the sim card and note down the number on it's back. You will be asked for this.
PUK is pin unlocking code

Once you get the (PUK) write it down, in case it happens again

If you still have the original packing you should have a card with 2 scratch stripes on it the first is the "pin code" and the second is the second is the PUK "pin unlock code" this is if you have forgotten your pin code.

If you have a different service provider the 2 codes will have been given when you purchased it.

thanks everybody ,that problem has been sorted ( provider sorted it in 2 mins ), now i have another , i want to lock my phone so my child doesn't get back into it but when i went to lock the phone it was asking for a password which i don't have , any body have any ideas to sort this small problem , thanks again

 

The default password may well be in the phone manual, or online.

 

The default password for my phone was 0000. (MOTOROLA)

 

That's interesting. The password on my phone is characters/numbers/symbols etc.

 

That was the code when it was new out of the box, I changed it straight away.

That was just the phone the sim card was completely different.
