    1st question:
as asked by Taz... what email service are you using is it web based as in Hotmail/Yahoo or via your ISP and using Outlook/Outlook Express?

pre-empting the answer, you could use this spam/email filter ( works on only 1 email address in the free version but effective ) http://www.majorgeeks.com/MailWasher_Pro_d4230.html

    or an alternative http://www.majorgeeks.com/Spamihilator_d3347.html

    as to your second question:
What entertainment type thingy, you will have to explain more or link us to what you are referning too?

the options I gave you above will do both OE, but if you want Yahoo and MSN coverage and you have paid accounts from MSN/Yahoo that allow downloading to OE then Mailwasher will cost you for the Pro version that covers them.

but MSN mail I know has an ok spam protection, you just need to check out the options menu > mail and junk e-mail options, Standard setting is Ok but it maybe worth if you get alot of junk setting it to Exclusive which does the following below.....

so only those in your contact list, have there email come through to you.. but do check it for miss diagnosed ones.

Yahoo I dont use so wouldnt know there spam settings but I guess they would be similar to MSNs. http://antispam.yahoo.com/

also if you sign up to many things online, your email address can be sold on to spam companies.. so have a spare email address from Gmail, Yahoo, MSN etc just for signing upto stuff online, especially if they are not large companies or websites... then you dont have to bother blocking those as its not going to affect you much.. this is what I do with a spare MSN and Gmail account... works well, if they get spammed too much, forget them and create a new email address.

if using mailwasher or spamihillator then the help guides will talk you through setup very easily... read up on their usage from the home site, see which you are happy in using.
