help plz i am confused

i have a number off a mother board which is ep-4sg8mi i think it is the serial numer i need to find out how much a new board will cost me that my cpu will fit in it is a intel celeron D 2.66ghz/256/533 that is all i know i need a cheap mother board can you help please

Here's what you need to do. Go to this link and download the program. Unzip it and run the program. When the program is running, click the Mainboard tab at the top and show us what it says. Also list what it says under CPU.

Once you do these 2 things, we can tell you exactly what you need.

Can you give us any more information on whats going on? It may be cheaper to get a much better motherboard (or whole computer) if you're looking to replace a bad motherboard.

 

Pretty much any socket 478 motherboard will work. Take a look at these two MB's from ECS:
