I just replaced my MoBo thinking it was the problem cause my computer would power up but I got no beeps no noise or lights for the hard drive. I hook the harddrive to a friends computer and it worked just fine the MoBo is brand new so I'm guessing it's the processor but how do I tell for sure without droping a wad of money.

THe problem may very well be the PSU. Take your PSU out and put it into another system, if the system fails to start then the problem is your PSU.

Check through all the basics first dont just look at them yank em out and stick em back in HARD,atx 12v is plugged in near the cpu,the cpu fan plugged in,vid card has power if it needs it,main mobo plug plugged in,reset the cmos jumper"its in your manual" and crank her. ;)

When you fire up, does the PSU fan spin, and can you open the CD trays? If no, then it's the PSU, if yes, then it isn't. The precessor plays no part in these at the begining of the startup. Have you pushed the 20/24 pin connector home hard enough? Silly question, have you checked the fuse at the power lead. When connecting the molex plugs up, have you caused a short by creating a loop? Easily done with a lot of them. If as a last resort you think it's the cpu, get it tested first, they are too expensive to be wrong.
