Help, red key AOL screen name error

    I am new so be nice...I can't sign on AOL, keep getting a red key in the address box and says screen name error. Can't even get to it through google. Have run all virus scans, nothing. Searched the web for the red key, nothing. Can anyone offer a suggestion? Thanks.

    What browser are you using? Try cleaning all the history, cookies, and cache and see if that helps. You can either do this through the browser menu options under Tools, or use something like CCleaner which you can download from here http://majorgeeks.com/download4191.html

    I am using internet explorer, yes cleaned out all cookies, etc, to no avail. Tried various 'free' download scans, although most are not really free. Still getting the red key and still can't get on AOL. Any other suggestions?

    Are you running Vista? Did you clean out temporary internet files too?
