I have downloaded hijack this and have saved a copy of the scan in a folder...can anyone review my log to see what needs to be deleted?

    Hi Daisy,

You have a lot of crap in your log. Please run through the Cleanup Tutorial HERE:
READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan and Virus Removal

Note the steps that you can and cannot complete. Please make sure that you are in Safe Mode with System Restore OFF and have the Viewing of Hidden Files ENABLED as per the instructions in the link. Make sure to do the Online Scans.

Please download this tool - http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.zip

I'll check back when I get a chance.

    Best :)

    PP,
I have ad-aware se and spybot already installed. I enabled the hidden files and was able to delete many of the files so that this morning, I just had 6 files that needed additional deleting after rebooting. I still have the Kudd Create a Monster uploading and some additional pop-ups. I downloaded the tool you gave me and did not run it yet. Waiting further instruction, thank you for your help.... Please see my new scan log below:

    Hi Daisy,

Please do not post inline HJT logs.

You may not need LSP-Fix as the 010 entries are now gone.

You are running HijackThis Improperly - You have it in a TEMP folder.
HJT MUST be extracted to its own safe folder - C:\Program Files\HijackThis

Also note that, before you scan, you MUST close all running programs including your web browser, e-mail and items in the system tray.

Please save your HJT Log as a .txt file and attach it via the "Manage Attachments" tool in the Additional Options section when you post.

Please move HJT to its own folder and then do a fresh scan and attach that log as per the above instructions and we'll go from there ;)
I'll try to check back when I get a chance.

    Best,
    PP

    PP,
I was able to remove Kudd, however I am still having some popups with screen saver ads and also "stopzilla" and other spyware ads too. I think these are somewhere in my memory because I do run the ad-aware and delete files, but the popups still come and they are the same ones. I am using Modzilla as my default browser.

Daisy, you didn't complete our tutorial. I see no references to symantecs virus scan or trend micros.. please run through the tutorial again. I know it's a lot of work to do, but it's this or an infested machine.

    Thanks
