Ok, here's the situation. I recently bought an x-fi platinum. I want to record 2 simultaneous analog inputs (it specifically says it can do this.) Also, in the documentation, it keeps mentioning that it comes with a sequencing software called CubaseLE, of which I found on neither of the cd's that came with the card.

So heres what I have done so far, keep in mind I am not all that familiar with this area of hardware. I have an analog microphone plugged into the "line in 2/mic in 2." The monitor recieves signal from this and I can hear myself through my pc's speakers if i set the recording to line in-2/mic in-2 . I can record it in Audacity (currently working on getting a sequencer with ASIO support).

My dad has a keyboard (no midi connector) and uses the stereo cables to connect to the "aux in 2". If i set, in the audio creation mode interface, the record setting to aux 2, there is no signal on the monitor, but audacity will still record.

My question is, how do i simultaneously record (and ideally use hardware playback) on both analog inputs simultaneously?
