A lot of cell phone companies have wireless cards you can buy that you plug into your laptop and you can get an internet connection wherever. They're pretty nice if you need to get stuff done when you're not by a hotspot or something.

you'll have to buy the card and there will most likely be a monthly fee. i'm not sure how much they cost. check out your cell phone service provider and see if they have them.

    Hi

Another option if the phone providers in the US offer them are HSDPA usb dongles that give you broadband via the cell network, its much much quicker than DialUp, but will come with a one off payment for hardware and then monthly charges.

We have ones like this in the UK so check your areas phone co for similar.

If you wish to find free wifi hotspots in your area then try this, JWire ( although many free hotspots do tend to be in cafe's, libraries etc

I guess you can get a wifi card for your laptop and goto or try and find free wifi spots that are highspeed, alot of places like starbucks and mcdonalds and such have them for free.

maybe try and get a satellite dish hook up for a highspeed signal if they dont have cable or DSL broadband and plug it into your laptop via ethernet at home
