Help! Something is wrong with my internet connection!

    omfg, i don't know whats wrong with my internet connection
    my isp is verizon dsl, last night and other days before today was all fine i was downloading at top speed and all good and stuff no lag at all on games
    but i woke up this morning, turned on my computer and everything was so slow omfg i get 800+ ping on counter-strike, alot of freakish lag on wc3ft
    and downloading files are slow, even loading sites, it took me forever to make this page load T_T please help

    Have you checked for spyware, and ran cleaners with C-Cleaner?

    yea, i ranned so many things like regcleaner,spyware,virus scans, speedscans
    nothing found, and slow ass speed :(

    Have you contacted Verison yet? Line problems do happen, you know.
    That's the first thing I would do.

    i called them, and they put me on hold, said they were busy and stuff i waited 20 minutes+
    now im getting a blue screen that says BAD_POOL_something with ***STOP 0X00008E and stuff like that wtf is wrong with my comp wow!

    Bad RAM? Maybe try one of those memory testing programs.
    You're not overclocking your machine, are you?

    i never overclock my comp i play regularly in the day, and turn it off at night
    its been acting up since i got a new ram stick another 256mb ram cause i only had 256mb from the start, then i updated the drives and everything, and i been looking around and dunno wats wrong now T_T

    shut down chuck the ram and reboot.. my guess is u got some bad ram

    Hold on there! First of all...are the stick of RAM the same speed? My experience has shown that RAM should be the same size and density for use in dual channel mode... does your mobo support dual channel? Read through the motherboard's manual a little; it'll have some useful info on the subject.

    And there's a utility that elbiatcho1 mentioned. It's called memtest86 and it's available on this site, IIRC. If theres no problems between your two sticks of ram, as well as none between the both and your mobo, then try that!

    you should take out the ram you just put in and try it before trying memtest.
    save a lot of time from running memtest if thats the problem.

    try powering the router down for about 5 minutes, turn it back on, wait another 5 minutes , reboot , reconnect
