help!! sound is not working...

    first off...im computer retarded and if someone could help me with this problem, it would be great. it seems as if i don't have a sound program at all. no sound is coming out of my laptop and when i go to the control panel under sound and audio devices, under volume it says "no audio device". i have no idea what to do...so any help would be awesome. thanks so much!

    First things I would be doing are to goto the manufacturers site of the laptop and looking up the model you have then looking for the driver pages.

    also if you goto Device Manager do you see and yellow ! marks around sound if so click and then choose update driver.


    if your stuck post the make and model of your laptop and we will try and help find the correct driver for sound.

    i have an hp laptop ze4325....that's about all i've got for you. i know when i go to device manager, nothing shows up. nada.
