help to upgrade computer????

    i have a dell dim 2400 pent 4 cpu 2.80 ghz
    2.79, 128 mb RAM

    I know that there are other numbers i should know but i dont understand a whole lot of compters .. I can putt around.

    i would like to know the best available upgrade for not to much money.. I really just want a little faster and more room to put all my music.. I dont know what i would need .. Motherboard? CPU?? i just dont know any help would be appreciated

    so umm...theres this thing that stores stuff (you know, music, porn, cia secret files and other useful stuff)...its called a HARDDRIVE. Ask for a 120 gb one or even an 80gb one in a store, and that will be good :)...also...Ask for a 512 mb stick of ram...or at least a 256.that should cover your fastness and your put-musicability

    how was that link necessary again?...he just asked how to store more..and how to make it faster...its not that difficult...no real specs are needed for that man

    What OS you using?

    If XP then yes as Russian Master said more memory will help speed up applications loading/running etc 128mb these days is just not really enough 512mb ~ 1gb is min... this program will help you find out all the info needed to get the correct memory Everest

    Your CPU is quick enough so no need to change that.

    Hard Drive.. what size is it and how much free space is left? you can as RM said get another HD and run that as slave to the 1st one for more storage space.
