   I have my HDD drive partioned with c:\ running WIN ME(which sucks) so I want to run the win98 on my new formatted partion I formated with winme and win98 won't let me install gives a older version error..... ​

   Boot from your 98 boot floppy and run sys c: - then you can install 98.
