Help? unable to create process code 2

Hi,

I really need help. I offered to help my sons babysitter's hubby and now I am in a jam. I installed and set up an invoice program called "The Print Shop: Business Invoices". I worked fine until a few days ago. When he clicks on the icon to open the program it shows a little box with a moving flashlight asking you to browse for the file. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and upon opening the program I got an error something along the lines of "unable to create process code 2". I have no idea what this means or how to fix it and if anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I have been googling this for the past day and have gotten no where really. I am also not very computer savy when it comes to this kind of thiing so you would have to explain it to me like Im a dummy if you have the answer.

It reads like there may be a permissions issue here. What version of Windows is it running on and is the logon an Administrative one (check in Control Panel > Users)?

 

I am unsure what Windows it is running (Im at work right now) on but I know for sure it is an administrative user because I created a seperate account for his kids. He thinks they are the reason everything gets messed up.

When I googled this error I read somewhere that his shtasks.exe utility could be missing? I also read he could have a virus? Im so confused....

 

Task Scheduler, perhaps? That can be awkward to modify on Vista and Windows 7, you might need to start the program by right-clicking it and selecting 'Run as Administrator' to get it working correctly (even though you're logged into an Admin. account, it's not usually the same as the real, hidden, Administrator account).

Once you get back on the machine, if you're still getting the same problem, maybe you can log in here and update us, we might ask for screenshots, logs or whatever to try to troubleshoot it with you.
