help: unblock a website

is there a way to unblock a website? my work filters certain websites such as ebay.com and shows this if you try to view it...

someone told me i can edit this filter using regedit. my computer is using windows xp. i'd appreciate any help. thanks.

 

Well, firstly, its probably blocked for a reason, so getting around that block will only get you in trouble. Second, we don't know how the block is enforced, if its via proxy (which it probably is) then you've got no hope other than ask the IT staff to unblock it. If its on your computer personally, then it could be that you can change a setting somewhere to unblock it.

And also we can't really tell you how to do this, because it would give MG a bad name and could get us and/or MG into trouble if you lose your job because of it.
