    Hi guys;
    I've tried to play several recent games like assassins creed, Burnout Paradise, but they run really slow and sometimes they crash. My video card is a Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset and i've done some research an I found out that this card is really really bad for gaming. And everytime i go to can i run it.com I pass in every aspect but fail in the video card.

    I have a laptop and i would like to update my video card but i dont know if thats possible(i heard that laptops are hard to open or something) and i would like to know if there's ANY WAY i could get a new one and istall even though if the price is high.

    Thanks

    That's most likely a integrated shared video memory video card. Its a really low end card. Laptops are usually impossible to upgrade the video card so I think you are stuck with it.

    You could try to update the drivers and see if that helps.

    I've already tried updating the driver and it doesnt do anything.
    What about external video cards?Is it a possibility?

    I think they make them but I think the bus would be to slow for gaming.

    If you really want to play it i would look into buying a new desktop pc or a laptop with a decent video card. Laptop with a decent video card can be costly.

    Judging from the fact that the video chip is a mobile Intel chip, I'd say we have a laptop here. generally speaking, laptops are NOT recommended for any type of gaming other than your basic online poker or Java type games like at Yahoo Games (for example). Gaming laptops are expensive and start at about $2000 for something decent. However, you can custom build a decent gaming tower for under $600....

    Maxing out RAM may help - depending on your starting point. Since on-board graphics uses system RAM, installing more system RAM will give the CPU and OS more room to work in without constantly spooling out to the slow hard disk page file. That said, notebooks never make good game machines - in spite of what some notebook makers (or their marketing team) tell you. Gaming is too demanding on resources, causing too much heat for the tiny notebook cases and their minimal cooling solutions to adequately deal with.
