Help w/ CD-R that won't "R"

I have a Sony Mavica camera that writes directly to a a "mini" CD-R. (It is about half the size of regular CD, and holds 156 MB.)

I've used it for a couple of years with no problem: I take my pictures, then upload them to my hard drive, then re-format the disc with the camera's software.

This time though, I got a disc error when I tried to reformat it. It said there was not enough disc space. So I tried to delete some pictures, both with the camera and then on my PC. With the camera, it didn't do anything, and the PC software (Roxio) tells me that the files are read-only. I tried to make it writeable with the PC but I get another "no disc space" error. The "format CD" option isn't available.

Is there anyway I can reformat this disc? I know, they're cheap, but so am I.

    Thanks,

    Angela

    DUH!

    I have the wrong disc!

    I have a CD-R, and I usually use the CD-RW.

    Sorry for the wasted thread.

    I hate being forever confused.
