Help: Which video card would be best?

In terms of performance, the best FPS I can get without much of it dropping when running FRAPS.


Edit: I hope some of you know what FRAPS is, I also play World of Warcraft and that game sucks without a good video card

 

i would go with the 7600 since its a more up-to-date card than the 6800....

 

Are you sure? the 6800 GS OC is GDDR3, the 7600 GS is GDDR2. and the memory bandwith on the 6800GS OC is 33.6 where the 7600 GS is 12.8GB/sec

 

ok just looked at the specs. it looks like the BFG is better. the core clock speed is low compared to the 7600 but memory speed is better on the BFG than the EVGA thus making up for the loss.

 

that's only because the bfg is factory overclocked 10%. you could over clock the 7600 the same way. probably better think it over. in my opinion i'd go with the 7600.

 

This is a toughy...i think id vote for the 6800GS, it has a 256-bit memory interface and also the gddr3 memory. Same amount of pipes, although clock speeds may vary a bit but overclocking could fix that. I think that the 6800GS can unlock 4 more pipes also, not 100% sure tho.

woa nvm, its a 7600gs, thought it was a gt. Definitely go for the 6800gs then
