[HELP] Windows Problem

Here are some problems that i have experienced from my computer or others:

1.the RUN program from the start menu disappeared

2.task manager always pops down after 2-3 secs.

3. Internet browser sometimes automatically closes.

Help me pls how to solve this problem..:cry

 

Have you done any tinkering with the Registry prior to these problems (manually or using a registry/system tweaking program)?

If not the only other that comes to mind is a malware infection or post disinfection collateral damages...

I will inform the Malware guys to have you run a few scans to make sure your system had not turned into a Motel-6 for malware.

Do you think that your system might indeed be infected? It might be wise for you to run a passive scanner such as HijackThis but do not have it fix anything just save the scan result to a log file and post it here first, ok?

 

I'd check for nasties. Malware section might help
