help! windows xp issues!

I've recently started having some issues w/ Windows XP. I'm trying to install some NOrton products and it keeps hanging on the activation page. Also, my CPU is running at 100% most of the time, even when programs aren't running. Please help! Thanks in advance. I'm attaching my hijack this log.

 

Open the Task Manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and go to the "proccesses" tab. Now short proccesses by cpu usage by clicking at CPU. Now you can see what's the name of the proc that eats your cycles.

 

I did this but I'm not sure what I can close. Here's the stats:
Taskmgr.exe 10
iexplore.exe 10
CCAPP.exe 45
explorer.exe 30
csrss.exe 5

 

hmm, must be one of the well known around here, Symantec bugs. CCAPP.exe has the most CPU usage as you can see. If you let the system calm down (should calm down if it wasn't for the bug) iexplorer.exe, taskmgr.exe and explorer.exe will come to 0 usage and ccapp.exe will rise to 99% itself. I don't know how to fix this kind of stuff, if I could I would tell Symantec, lol. Only thing I can think of is to kick Norton out.
