Help! Wireless Adapter Issue

I have used BitComet for as long as I can remember and it has always worked fine. Recently, which causes me to believe that it may not be a bittorrent client issue, I have installed a wireless adapter and since then I have been experiencing some major problems. My system seems to be running fine and when I start up Bitcomet, BitTornado, ABC, etc... It will begin downloading the torrents I request but shortly after (say 1-15 mins) my computer freezes.
I am using Win XP Pro Service Pack 2. When I installed the wireless adapter it told me that the driver was unsigned so I clicked "continue anyway" in hopes that it would work as I was told it should.

Anyways, any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated, it's making me insane!!
