:confused I desperately need help! My computer has no IP address. My wireless card says it is connected but no IP address appears. I have tried several other wireless connections but to no avail not one of them finds an IP address. I even wiped my computer, reverting it to when I purchased it, thinking it was missing some file, but still no IP address.
I have no clue because all the other computers in my house find my Sprint hot spot. This computer has Windows XP, and before we got the hot spot, my computer found my satellite dish with this wireless card.
    Any suggestions????

    Hi

What Service Pack is your XP at?

What Security Software do you have installed and if you disable it/them can you connect?

Click Start > Run and then type CMD and hit enter, then type at the prompt ipconfig /all and hit enter then copy and paste all the txt into a notepad file and save it, then attach as per HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post
