help with 18 wheels of steel

im having a problem with my game on this pc.i have a dell 2400 with a celeron processor and 1gb ram and this game lags on me bad.my girlfriend has the same pc except she has a pentium 4 and only 384mb ram same graphics card and all that though....and the game works fine....whats the deal?xp/256mb ram and pentium 3 are the requirements,so i dont understand why it runs on her dell with less ram and not mine with the ram maxxed.any help is greatly appreciated

What are your exact system specs?

Are there any official patches available?

There is a patch for 18 wheels of steel convoy that you can download http://www.scssoft.com/18-wheels-of-steel-convoy-download.php.
Also the fact that you have a celeron cpu is why it runs slower on your machine (celeron cpu's have less cach then the p3 or p4 cpu's).

 

There is more than one version of 18 Wheels of Steel.

The Convoy patch is useless if he or she doesn't have Convoy.
