help with a motherboard??? issue!!

About a month ago i changes my case and put the computer into a larger case for ventilation..the usb drives eventually stopped working and the computer would crash with the monitor going out but the pc still on(i know it crashed because the keyboard lights wouldnt respond)...i then changed the motherboard and everything was fine and working untill recently when again it has started crashing with the monitor turning off and me having to force shutdown it...can anyone help with this problem? is it a mother board change again?...

im operating a 512 agp card with only 1gig og mem(maybe this???)

any thoughts would be appreciated

Maybe a stupid question, but are you using the standoffs provided with the case? My immediate impression is that your mobo might be shorting out.

 

hi, im not using any, the original pc never used them so i didnt have them in the new case, one other point is that i got 3 small fans..i only now use 1 for the proccesor + the big main on at the back...eversince i used this new mb it wont power them....mebby a dodgy mb?

Oh, WOW....you should DEFINITELY install some standoffs! The mobo shouldn't be resting on the case; the case acts as a ground! This will eff with yo shizz, dude.

If the motherboard is new, you might be able to RMA it......if you do, INSTALL THE STANDOFFS! They're NOT ornamental.
