help with a technical present

    Hi Geeks! Haven't been on for awhile, and dearly miss it. I have a shut-in brother who is very technically apt. I think he would love a theramin, he is a techno-geek and also very musically well done. I can't afford a great deal, and though he is excellently able technically, I don't want to overwhelm him. As well, I am on a fixed income and not able for much. I think the best gift ever for Jimmy is a theramin. I've found this, and hope you will weigh in on it

    I always value your input. My brother has so little outside his brain, I would love your help. I'm afraid that most kits are hundreds of dollars. I want something that will truly give him a theramin experience. He is excellently good at computer music.

    If your Bro loves music or even making sounds then this is great. its a personal gift and not one many would appreciate so need to know the person as you likely do from the post, so if a small thing can make noise and it stimulates your brother then that's really good.
