Help with a virus please

I ran a free scan thru McAfee and found I have a virus Reg/Seeker located at C:hp/region/EN_US-ie.reg
I have ran:
SWShredder
Adaware
Spybot Search and Destroy
AVG (which did NOT detect it)
RegSeeker
CCleaner

I disabled System Restore (which I think is where it is) I rebooted, scanned again and it is still there. How can I get rid of it? I have not enabled it.

How do I get rid of it?

I am thinking it is something easy, and my tired brain for doing this for 3 hours just can't figure this out.

uninstall AVG and try this one

Reg/Seeker is a Trojan that places a registry hook on load. You can probably dump that registry file.

I am downloading Avast right now after uninstalling AVG.

I am running XP Home with IE6
No, no problems right now, but would like to avoid having any.-)

How do I dump the registry file?

select the file BUT DON'T DOUBLE CLICK IT.. just a single click and hit delete on your keyboard..

I want to thank you all for the help I received. I downloaded Avant, but that did not find it either. Tried a search for the file, so I could delete it......... Nothing........
So, I ended up downloading McAfee's Anti virus software (free for 15 days). Ran the scan and deleted the file that way. Ran a scan again this morning, and nothing found.

So, thanks again for the help. I do like this website. I found it by listening to a little old radio station KASM in Albany, MN

Suggestions please

Well, I am back for some more help.

My computer is sooooooooooo slow now. Is it from all the things I downlaoded to try to find and fix the virus? Or what does anyone think?
Please help. I could fall asleep as long as it takes to load a page.
