    Hi,
I just recentley dowlaoded avg antivirus here from major geeks to add to my protection against viruses. But I'm already running Norton Internet security, and I dont want to uninstall it. I just want another virus scanner that will cleanup anything norton misses. Is there anyway that I can install AVG with norton still installed without having any problems? Can't I just disable auto protect/script blocking for AVG and just use it as a scanner?

yeah you could do that as AVG would then not be resident/live scanning or a better suggestion would be to run the online scans from......

    Trend Housecall

    F-Secure Online Scan

these online scans update very frequently and dont interfear with your normal AV

and get yourself A-Squared ( Free ) which will work very well with your existing AV and hunt down Malware, Trojans, Dialers etc
