Help with bf2 installation

when i click ok on the first box it goes the second box

i closed down all programs running emptied the temperory folders using system clean-up. whats the problem here. this comp is new so theres no problems with drivers etc, the demo ran just fine(do i have to uninstall the demo?) arghghhhhh

any help would be great thanks

 

It looks like there's a corrupt file, not too sure. Can you try installing it from safe mode?
Also, have you bought the game and not downloaded it, because a) we don't help with illegal downloads and b) it won't install properly if you download it.

 

Not true, you shouldn't insult peeps intelligence by lying; one, because your putting yourself above them making them look stupid, and two because your gonna get flamed out when someone more knowledgeable comes and reads/hears BS.

Making them aware of action/consequence is the right thing to do; regardless its still illegal/immoral to do such things.

And also, wasn't insulting their intelligence in any shape or form, was just asking.

And it won't install if you have illegally obtained it, because it requires an internet connection to register it and only one serial/product key will work per copy.
Sorry, but that is fact as I have in fact just bought the game today, installs exactly like halflife 2 - one serial per user.

 

There is no verification for CDKEY like STEAM (HL2), unless you want to play ONLINE. Valve is the only game delivery system that verifies that the product key is authentic; mainly because you download full games and update games through STEAM. Even then, that system can be bipassed with hacks like internet spoofers and what not. BF2 registration only registers your e-mail and name etc for "tech support & one cheat code or hint!"
