Help with building a new computer

    I am building my first computer, and i have picked out all my parts, but i want to be sure on the compatibility of my cpu and motherboard.

    The motherboard is here
    and the cpu is here

    It may just be paranoia, but for a big investment, I want it to work right.

    You do have a big investment ahead of you and it doesn't heard to ask to make sure.

    The motherboard says "Processor Interface Socket 775" and the Processor says "Socket 775 Processor" so I would say you're good to go.
