    Hi,

I have a pentium 11, not a new computer and the current OS is Win2000 Professional. I don't like it, and instead of upgrading to xp, which we're already running another computer on, I'd like to load Win98, or would it be Win98SE on it.
I've only done upgrades and this would be a 'downgrade', but we're going to use it for the old '98 games that won't run on it or XP.
The computer is a Toshiba P11, Service Pack 4, 163,312 KB RAM, with 18.6 GB - if this helps any. What would be the best/easiest way to do this if possible? Thanks for any help you can give me.

If the drive is NTFS format, you will have to format it to FAT32 so that Win98 will "understand" the drive. You can either do it with B.A.R.T. Tools, or download a disk from http://bootdisk.com. Once you have the drive back at FAT32, then it would be just putting in the Win98 disk and booting it for install.
