Help With Computer Problem!

Hey guys!

I was on my computer yesterday, and went to "My Computer" to check how much space there was left on Drive C.

But then the computer got stuck, and I turned it off and when I started it again, there was no beep, and my monitor didn't come on.

My computer's specs:

AMD 1.2GHz
256 DDR RAM
40GB HDD
WIN XP Pro
32 MB ATI Video Card

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting everything, but no result. I also searched Google and none of the solutions helped.

Please help me as I have alot of work waiting!

Do you have anothers harddrive, if yes try it because i think your
harddrive is dead .....

 

Yes, I tried another harddrive, and still the same problem.

Reset BIOS and try again (reset BIOS means taking the battery from the mother board and putting it back in).

Hey guys! Thanks for all the help; I got it to work!

For those who might have the same problem, I took out the heatsink and cleaned it for like 10 minutes! and then I cleaned the processor and then I reseated the RAM.

After that I started and it worked!
