HELP with computer School

hey all I am new to this forum. I would like it very much if I could get some insight on a few things. I am thinking about going back to School and was wondering if you smart computer people out there could point me in the right place for the right course. My choices are: computer networking technology, this is a one year program, it offers A+ training ready to right exam, and a few other ready courses. My second choice is: Computer internet security specialist. I really want to change careers due to a very bad back problem and computers is something I enjoy working on. I use to be a Licensed Mechanic, now I want to do computers.. Any insight on this topic would be very much appreciated!!, you can also e-mail me at steve107@sympatico.ca

I myself am enrolled at http://www.microtrain.net for my A+ and Network+ certifications...then after that there are multiple certifications that you can't take that are tailored to specific areas of computer technology...and ofcourse the more certs you take, then the more it will broaden your horizon in more ways than one!!!!

Granted this link to the school I'm enrolled at is based in chicago. I don't know where you are from, but if you are self disciplined enough...you can do it all over the internet, just short of taking the actual test!! If anything...there is some good reading on the above link, that might better help you understand what it is all about!!!!
