Help with converting SWF file

I have a link to a video/meditation that I watch. There is a link to download it so I do not have to watch it online and so that I can make a video out of it. The problem is it is an swf file and Windows does not know how to convert it. I found a site flash-swf-converter however, I am not sure if this is safe, easy and the right program to download.

I want to save it to watch on computer and then burn to disk.
Thank you for any impute, I do not want to have any more malware problems, so, I am being careful what I download.

 

You can safely download and use VLC media player, which can play SWF files on your computer. I've found few formats that VLC can't play, for that matter.

As far as conversion goes, I have used a program called SUPER (Stands for Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer), which is available here at MG. It takes some getting used to but it does a pretty good job of converting all kinds of files - including shock wave flash. Seems to run well under XP Pro SP3, and the specs say it is for all windows platforms.

Thanks, I downloaded Vlan, however, it could not play the swf / Power Point Presentation that I downloaded I can only play it from the site.

When I try to open the download I get this message

File Extension: .swf

However, I have downloaded the above software and neither one can open it.
I do not think I can post the link , because I did a few days ago and the msg disappeared. So, I am a bit stuck with this. I would like to open the download and then make a DVD out of it.
