    Greetings Geeks -

    I bought this:

    Edimax ew-7438rpn

    http://www.amazon.com/Edimax-EW-743...=1371603258&sr=8-1&keywords=edimax+ew-7438rpn

Setup requires the WPS button be pressed on the unit as it identifies the network and then shortly thereafter it requires the WPS button to be pressed on the router for a handshake. My router, which is this:

    TP-Link N300

    http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WR...e=UTF8&qid=1371603370&sr=8-3&keywords=tp-link

This particular router does not have a WPS button. The alternative method is to connect the extender via ethernet to the computer(s) which will be using the wireless extender to configure settings. I would be happy to do that, however - I will be using iPods, iPhones, tablets, etc. on the extended network which I cannot connect via ethernet cable.

So, what to do? Is there a workaround? My router does have an "OSS" button, can I use that instead to communicate with the WPS on the extender?

If this problem cannot be remedied, what other alternatives are there? Thanks for any help.
