Help with hooking up two monitors

    Ok i got this new laptop an HP Elite Book 8730w and it has an HDMI port and was wondering how i can hook up my laptop with it to my HDtv. I've done it before with an S-video card and cored but my laptop can't seem to find my tv.

    gimpster123 Bring out the Gimp.

    I assume you have the hdmi cable hooked up. Right click on your desktop ---> personalize ----> Display settings. Does your tv show up here? Also make sure the tv is on the right channel/input
