Help With Images On Windows 10

    Pics in Downloads and Pictures in the Explorer folder were viewable in My Dell G315 computer, until I transferred a lot of photos from my old computer today. Now they all show as icons. If I double click them the picture comes up, but I want to return to being able to view them. I believe there may be a back up file somewhere that has been filled?? Any suggestions to restore them to normal viewing please?
