Before I begin to install my new Linksys Wireless-n router I am wondering if I need to remove all files related to my old router (BEFW11S4) and that network prior to installing and setting up the new router? If not, will the new software overwrite the old and and adjust settings for maximum use of the new wireless-n router? I'd appreciate any and all feedback. Couldn't find anything related to this topic on Linksys support or other networking forums.

You should not have had to install any software, so there's nothing to uninstall. You may have to make some changes in your PCs' Network Connections' TCP/IP Properties, specifically the "Default Gateway" and DNS server, as there are variations, brand to brand, as to what IP address is used.If you are using another Linksys, you may need to do nothing at all (other than replicate any customized settings you may have made in your old router in your new one).

Thanks for the reply. I'll be working on it this evening, so I'll see how it goes. I'm pretty familiar with the router setup page, just wondered if the current configurations were going to conflict with the new.
