Help with Internal card reader & 2GB Sd card

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens notebook that has an integrated card reader. When I put any SD up to 1GB in it reads it fine, when I put my 2GB card it does not even see it. The card reader is a "Texas Insturments PCIxx21 integrated flash". Here is what I have done:

1. I looked on Fujitsu-Siemens site and they have no driver listed for this card reader even though it is installed in their computer. They have one listed but for another model of card reader.

2. Googled for this and found several people who have had the same problem with other brands of notebooks, but the same card reader. Each time they have an update listed for the drivers, but for HP or Packard Bell, etc.

3. Now my question, are these drivers specific to each note book or the card? I am affraid to try the install with the drivers if they could mess up my notebook, reading a card is not worth that

I have heard that if you talk to and answer yourself you are starting to go crazy Well, maybe that is my case since I am responding to my own post , but since it didn't seem that anyone here had an idea on this one, I did an image of my computer, downloaded the Texas Instruments driver's that I found even though my notebook was not mentioned and hit the install button.

Well, it worked perfect and now I can read the high capacity cards in my internal card reader

Thanks for at least looking at this post and maybe there are a few others in my situation that could use the information here.
