Help with iTunes please...

I had to reformat my comp cause It was attacked and I could not get on. Anyway when this happened it seems like it only did half of the work, which I was ok with cause I still had all of my files and stuff and I pretty much had to get rid of whatever was slowing my comp down but at least my comp would turn on. Well when this happened, for some reason, iTunes would not let me open up. I tried to repair it, but nothing. So I completely uninstalled it and reinstalled it from the apple website. But now when I try to open it, it shows the license aggreement for about half a second and then nothing happens. Could this be because of some malware to my comp? Please help me, music is my life!!!!!!!!
