    MICROSOFT CHEKCING FOR LATEST UPDATES FOR YOURCOMPUTER NOT WORKING. JUST KEEPS SCROLLING. WHAT CAN I DO?:confused

    Hi

    What Windows version are you using?

    Are you using the inbuilt updater or the online updater?

    If the online updater then clear out your cookies and temps and CCleaner is good and quick for this, then try again, as well as following some of these steps here


    Help on Windows Update issues.

    Checked services? Automatic Updates set to Automatic and BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) set to Manual? Start>Run> services.msc>OK? They are presently disabled on this PC. Tried Windows Update? This article was an interesting read, glad I haven't had problems with SP3.
