help with missing MDAC

    I'd really appreciate some help with this. After downloading a fixlet from Bigfix I suddenly am unable to run my spyware. Error # 0x80040435 informs me that MDAC components don't appear to be installed. There were no problems prior to this specific download. I'm using windows 98. Requests for help from Bigfix have so far gone unanswered. So, I'm turning to all of you for help. Thanks. Ray

    That seems to have done the trick. I knew something was out there to solve my problem but after looking at several microsoft pages I was more confused than ever. Thanks for the help. Ray
