Help with Mozilla Firefox glitch

After successfully cleaning my computer (THANKS TO MAJORGEEKS! ) I followed the steps in "How to protect yourself from Malware". After installing the Mozilla Firefox browser, I've encountered an annoying problem. Once I am at a site for example lowes.com and run a search for products, the browser will not advance to any successive page. If there are pages 1,2 & 3 to view you cannot advance to the next pages by pressing the next button or the page number. Firefox shows that it is communicating to the server and transfering dat but only reloads the current page. Why???? Please Help

 

the lowes site works ok in my FF. I would make sure that when you click on a page number or the "next" , "prev" links that a new tab is not opening (look at the top) with the new page in it.

I visited and searched on the lowes.com site; no problems here with FF 1.5.

I don't think it's anything to do with your tab settings. There doesn't seem to be any Java involved in the 'Next' link in the search area either, so I'm not sure why it's not working for you.

 

have you tried clearing cache etc?

 

You can try holding down the shift key as you click, but that doesn't work for every site.
