I desperately need help. I am new at this. I have a Creative Zen Vision M mp3 player that I record my lesson on through fm radio. My problem is it record great to the player but when I burn to CD in WMA (because some of my CD players are not MP3) I cannot get the player to recognize the CD. I can only play the CD on my computer. What am I doing or not doing? Please advise.

Well I'd guess that as WMA files are Windows Media Audio that is why your mormal CD players won't recognize them. You would have to convert them to a format that your CD players do recognize.

Do you know what format will be accepted by my CD players?

You will have to burn thm as an Audio CD since your CD plays do not play mp3 or wma files.

What are you using to burn the the CDs?

When I used to burn CD's, I would take the mp3 files and convert them to .wav then burn them as an audio CD with Nero or whatever burning software I had.

Winamp used to have a good mp3>wav converter plugin, I'm not sure if they still do, but theres a ton of apps just a google away.

But in short... .wav files work in a normal CD player

Nero 6 user guide will take you through all the steps http://www.nero.com/nero6/en/User_Guides_Express_6.html

but in a nutshell, its choose Audio CD, copy and paste or browse for the MP3s you wish to convert/burn ( as Nero will convert them for playing in normal CD players ) once all the tracks are in the list then click next to complete the burning process.

note: some CD players also dont accept CDRW disks, so use a CDR.
