help with mS Works 2000

hey guys i got a software problem that i just can't figure out.

I tried to use my Microsoft works 2000 word processor and it told me that it could not find one or more files it needed to run and that i should reinstall and try again. well i did and got the same problem, so i uninstalled it completely and then installed it again. the same problem comes again and again. what is happening?

I recently installed kaspersky internet security, and thought it could be the problem but my sister is not having the problem, and she has kaspersky too. I can't find any problems with my system so how can i fix this!
