I installed Windows Vista a long time ago...

And I deleted the partition it was on a couple weeks ago.

But it didn't get rid of the boot screen for it and I can't figure out how to get it off...

So when I reset my computer I have to be there to make sure I pick the XP boot or it just sits there...

    Advice...thx

You need to wipe the partition, as in, wipe the MBR (Main Boot Record) in order to remove the "boot" screen.

If you go into admin tools in control panel, computer management, disk manager it should show up there as a tiny fragment partition that can be deleted,I'm not sure though as I havnt used vista yet:)
