Help with Nero 8

Ok..I am having a slight problem with Nero 8. I want to put some things i have on my computer into a dvd, so i can watch them on my tv. The first disc, burned good. The second disc did the same. However when I try to burn a third disc, it gets all the way down to 20 min remaining and then it stops working, the program automatically closes..what's going on? and how can i get it to stop?

 

It sounds like you are using Nero's recode software as well as their burning software. Nero Recode is often problematic. Maybe using DVDFlick to convert the files then using Nero to burn the DVD format files from your HD will work better.

 

Actually all the files are the same, They're all avi files, and I am using just Nero Vision, itself. running it the same as I ran the other two discs. so i dunno what's going on.

 

Nero Vision is what I meant--Recocde is actually ok for some things.. Basically, you are converting the files to DVD format and burning them. The answer is the same try letting DVDFlick do the conversion and then use Nero to burn. DVDFlick shouldn't take any more time to convert than Nero Vision does. I'm just going from my experience but converting from avi to dvd is hit and miss with Nero.
