Hello everybody, I need some serious help here :(

A few days ago, I was attacked by some nasty malware and trojans, etc. I almost had it cleared with all the steps from this website, but it came back somehow.

So I opted to reformat my C Drive. I reformatted ( I have 3 other partitions) and ran some scans later, and everything came back negative, no problems at all.

But now my internet is REMARKABLY slow. I'm getting 30kb/s downloads from IE, and sometimes it drops to 5, and even lower.

I used to play Guild Wars all the time, but it took me a day and half to redownload the program through steam, and now it takes so long to load files I cant even play it.

I dont want to think about calling the ISP because this ONLY happened after a reformat and virus attacked.

BTW, I'm not posting any logs because there are no longer any viruses, but if I need to post something, let me know!

Please help, my internet browsing has been slowed to a crawl.

Have you tried resetting your router and/or modem? That sometimes does the trick. Also give your ISP a call, usually they are pretty friendly and will help you fix the problem. Sometimes they can reset your connection from their end and it can fix things. Good luck!
