i have a nf7-s rev2 mobo and just like everyone else my northbridge fan is loud, annoying and provides no cooling so i would like to change it out

i have a pretty large cpu heatsink the slk 900u or a dont remember version but you get the point and i have a 90mm thermaltake fan on that

this does not leave me very much room (height being a factor) because ive only got 70mm of clearance... and i assume most nb hs are designed to suck air up and not blow down unlike my slk 900 which blows down.... so if i put in one that blows air up and out it will only get sucked back into my slk and blow warm air down on cpu which = no no!

ive googled for hours and he just isnt my friend anymore

    1) is there a good nb hs that fits the description of what im looking for out there???? (hopefully not exceeding about 25 bucks or so)

    2) is the nf7-s nb vga compatible because that opens alot of options???? (again i dont like google today as i could not figure this out)

    3) should i just go with a fanless nb hs like that zalman blue one for like 9 bucks???? i havent really been able to find a comparison of the temps of that with a nb hs with a fan... maybe gimme just ur 2 cents here or link me up to some reviews

im sure there are alot of you nf7-s boys out there that have gone down this road so plz someone help me out!~!!!

    thx so much as always

All tests I've seen have been really positive and I'm going to get one myself. It seems to be the best passive solution and the case/cpu fans should add to its performance nicely.

Edit: Microcool with Delta beats it but the difference in price tags is huge and Zalman lowers the temps so much that nb isn't going to be your oc bottleneck.
