i have nortons internet security and i am have just discovered that it is blocking most of my emails because my address book is not in the allowed list . i selected add address book but nothing happens. i am using microsoft outlook offfice. i checked nortons site and followed their instructions but nortons keeps looking for an address book in outlook express and there is no way to get it to look in my outlook office. is there a way to force it look else where. there is a feature where i can add each 1 seperately but that is very time consuming

You could always import your address list into OE - it won't affect the Outlook list and may be the easiest way to solve your problem.

Which version of NIS? Address book is a part of Windows, Contacts are a part of Outlook. The only thing it is doing is protecting from Worms using your Address book to send. Check the settings again for the User profile, especially if you are using Parental controls.

Also, try opening Internet Explorer, going to tools->options, programs tab, and make sure Office Outlook is your default program for email and for the contact list.
