Help with NT server

I am trying to help my bose with his new computer it is running windows xp pro and we are pluging it into the net work are our store we wet up the workgroup and it sees all the computers except the nt server. i cant even ping the sever and im wondering if the problem could be the ips they are all set to automaticly obtain the ip but they are all way differnt from eachother. should i try and restet the hub? or anyother ideas help

sounds like you have NetBIOS disabled on the server. When you tried to ping it, did you use the server name or the IP address?
